Hiked six miles with a heavy telephoto setup and forgot the pad was even there until I took it off—that’s how well it spreads the weight. The way it sits on a backpack strap is rock-solid, no slipping even when I was scrambling over rocks.

Belt carry used to dig into my hip after an hour, but this pad spreads the weight so evenly I forgot it was even there by the end of the shoot. The rigid base keeps everything locked in place even with a heavy 70-200mm setup, and the padding is dense without feeling bulky.

Took this out on a weekend shoot with my heaviest 70-200 setup and the difference on the belt is immediate—no more digging into my hip. The pad stays put on the strap too, which I didn't expect. Solid buy.
